Whilst we are a sailing club at heart (and obviously in name), we have a large number of non-sailing members who enjoy the social side of the Club.
There is a bar in our Clubhouse on Hoylake Promenade where you can have a drink with fellow members and guests whilst looking out across the beach to Liverpool Bay, catching a beautiful sunset, or perhaps even enjoy a game of snooker, pool or darts. Please note that well-behaved children are welcome in the Club.
As well as the weekly Club nights (see Information for opening hours), there are many social functions arranged throughout the year. These include annual formal dinners, occasional Sunday roasts and other occasional events with entertainment or activities (eg singers, bingo, barbecues), as well as fortnightly quiz nights and we also have a book club which meets monthly. In the winter months, we have a snooker team who compete in matches against neighbouring Kindred Clubs.
Club members are also eligible to join our ‘150 Club’ for a chance to win cash prizes in our monthly draws.

Use of the Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is available to use for parties, although dates can be limited and obviously subject to availability in line with members’ functions. To enquire about availability and costs, please email or call in to the Club. Once the above has been established, an application form (contact us or download below) and deposit is required to secure any booking.
Please note that we do not accommodate 18th Birthday parties, Christenings or Wakes for new or non-members. All applications are subject to the terms and conditions stated on the reverse of the form, including approval by Committee/Senior Officers.
